Lisa Thorp Kumar - VICTIM OF CYBERBULLYING

I have been forced to create this blog in defense of  Lisa Thorp Kumar because she is a victim of cyber bullying and it is not fair. She has been turned down for jobs, apartments, and lost clients in her small business all because of the LIES that are posted on tenantdispute.com.  It is time to set the record straight.

In August of 2008 she signed a lease for an apartment owned by a creepy man named Jay Laurino.  When she came to see the apartment it was filthy and in disrepair.  The landlord agreed to clean it and fix it.  He didn't.  She then had to do it herself and, within her right of the law, deducted the money she spent from her first months rent.  This slum landlord and his wife then proceeded to harass her.  She had to get a security system and call the police because he would not stop harassing her.  She had to threaten to take him to court.  It was a nightmare for her and this man terrorized her for eight months, after which she finally gave up and moved out.  When she moved out she hired a professional to clean the apartment.  She also did MANY REPAIRS that she never deducted from her rent.  Jay Laurino had NO LEGAL DISPUTE with her and so he published this filth about her on the internet. It is really shameful that tenantdispute.com has ruined the reputation of a very nice person.

She has asked tenantdispute.com REPEATEDLY to remove the posting, but despite that it is against the law to post defaming content, they refuse.

The moral of this story, dear reader: DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET!

Recently it was proliferated on the internet that the world was going to end May 21st, but it didn't.  Before you decide to judge someone, take time to really know them. As Jesus said in Matthew 7: Judge not lest ye be judged!

Lisa Thorp Kumar is an artist, a poet, a loving mother and childcare provider.  She has NEVER broken the law including and especially as Jay Laurino's tenant.  Think about it: if she had really done these things he could have taken her to court! She is a good tenant, you can ask all her other landlords.  It is a terrible shame this has been done to her.
